General Information

As Saxony is a protectorate, it cedes half of its resources to Poland-Lithuania. This means that Saxony tends to develop more slowly than the other Central European minor factions. As a consequence of this, it is usually militarily weak. 

Due to its status as a Polish-Lithuanian protectorate, declaring war on Saxony is a convenient way to force Poland-Lithuania to declare war without involving its other allies, a potentially useful tool for Prussia, Austria, and Sweden.

Trivia

The flag used by Saxony is based on a variation of the flag of Saxony, but depicted with reversed white and green colors. The use of this flag is historically anachronistic as this flag was adopted in 1991.
